It seems that I have mostly made things worse.

isopod: I moved some furniture around the piles of stuff, hoping a new perspective might help me tackle everything. It has helped, in that I feel like I’m getting somewhere, but it also pushed all the piles right up to my desk, which makes them much scarier. It also allowed me access to my speakers, so I plugged those in, so at least the music is a lot louder. But writing it out a little...

mothsinamoshpit asked: If you need to keep tabs open that aren't related to essays, like if they're for other classes or other obligations, make a new window for "essay tabs" and only look at that while writing. Then for your 15 minute breaks you can just switch back to the other window so those tabs don't invade your essay space.
