I know we had a litter box question not that long ago, and the answer seemed overwhelmingly to be a covered box.
Cat people, any other ideas for our friend here?

I keep a mini-broom set in the bathroom. That way I can sweep up litter and any other dirt that comes off before bathing.

Another vote for the covered box, though my cat has a box with a removable litter shield that goes on top. I got it at target.

Train your cat to use the toilet. Seriously. It’s easy. You’ll have to flush for them, but it beats cleaning out a litter box.

Do not get a covered box unless you’re willing to clean it more often. A bigger box would help though.

Has anyone suggested a corner shaped (and covered) box? And definitely a litter mat.The corner shape makes a big difference, I think.

Tidy Cat Breeze system. Pellets are so much less messy than regular litter.
