My room has been a disaster area since at least October and I kept using my busy schedule as an excuse to live in filth. I discovered your blog on Monday and felt so very inspired. So Wednesday morning I decided to do a 45/15 before work. Just one corner of my room, but I accomplished a great deal so I decided to do another round when I got out of work. Amazingly my 45/15 after work turned into me cleaning for 3 hours straight! I got rid of a bunch of purses that I never use and finally got rid of boxes from things I ordered online months ago. I had been looking for a place to put all of my books for the longest time because my bookcase is used to house shoe boxes and purses but because I got rid of all of those purses I managed to fit ALL of my books on my bookcase. I vacuumed and put clothes away and made my bed. I finally quit around 3:30AM but I woke up the next morning and kept cleaning. My room is still nowhere near where I want it but it is so much better than it has been that I felt compelled to write my thanks for the inspiration. Keep motivating people because it works!
Yay! Just remember, marathons aren’t always the most healthy way to clean. Now that you’re well on your way, try to stick to 20/10s or 45/15s to pace yourself. And keep it up!
