Part two of desk unfucking!

The side drawer is a bit of a mess, but it wasn’t that hard to clear it out, luckily. I actually decided to use the hanging files instead of just leaving papers around everywhere. I combined several of my backup discs so I could use one casing for each (with cases and on a spindle). Found a place to store some of my more obnoxiously sized program discs (that would be Dreamweaver, which is just a little too big to fit anyway). I even found about 100 pages worth of looseleaf paper in there! :D And look, empty space!

And then the top. Which was mostly just a reorganizing and dusting thing. The DVDs on my tablet are probably going to have to stay there until I can get to my closet (I have a little area just the size to stack DVDs in between my closet and my bookshelf, and it’s sorta cluttered right now. One of the next projects!). Put my dictionaries and notebooks into a large plastic bin for easier moving around (and plopped my plush pine marten on top of it because he’s the perfect fit for it). Even bundled together my computer cords (note to self: next time you shop at Jetpens, buy some of those cuter cord twist ties instead of using whichever twist ties you can get your hands on).

It was all pretty quick, much quicker than I was expecting. For the entire desk, I think it took me less than two hours (and I filled two and a half plastic bags with garbage while doing so).

And now with that all done, I am going to read, write and watch Ghostbusters for the rest of the night! :D
