So my experiment with matzoh toffee turned out fabulous tasty, BUT left a screaming mess in my kitchen at large. To get this

I ended up doing this

So basically I threw every cleaning agent I could find on the oven door and innards (Lysol spray, Bon Ami, lemon juice…alas I have no VINEGAR!) and left it while I did the dishes. Then I hove to with a bunch of Lysol wipes, a sponge, and a roll of paper towels. 

Clean stovetop, sink, and dishes, and the oven has returned to a slightly cleaner state than usual! Time for a celebratory piece of toffee.

I have a similar recipe, I think. I call it matzoh crack. Try covering your baking pan with foil first, then lining with parchment paper.
