I’m trying to make a serious effort to unfuck my life. It’s only been five days since my first therapy session so right now I’m in go mode and I’m making Life! Changes!. So right now I’m driven and getting organized and trying to set up systems for myself that will allow me to succeed in being like, a basic human being. Because I’m in GO MODE and I’m at the beginning of this project, I’m very enthusiastic about it so it’s easy. This won’t be true in a few weeks (hell, maybe even a few days.) But for right now, these are the steps I’m taking that will hopefully stick.
I started a Chains account, which I reblogged something about yesterday. The things I have on there right now are self-care things (reading, journaling) and stuff that I should have been doing for… ages (unfucking, taking my vitamins hahaha I’m terrible at that). I put it on my speed dial for Chrome, so I have to see the site every time I open a new tab, which will make me remember it.
This is honestly more accountability than I ever gave myself, so I have hope for it! I’ll add more things if I can think of anything else I have to do daily. I managed to unfuck most of my room in those two 20/10s. I just have to vacuum and venture under my bed (dear god). To-do for the upcoming week:
- Buy an actual to-do list thing to hang up beside my calendar, so I see it all the time every day.
- Find disc 1 of this insurance program
- Find a new peg for my bookshelf shelf that collapsed last night
