Catching up on UFYH, I saw the gal who uses events as motivation to clean. I just wanted to chime in on that, because I totally do it, too. If I don't make a point to do it for other people, I tend to let my tidiness slide in a big way. I'm not really happy or proud of that, but it is something I'm working on. I know I'm happier when it's clean, but until I get into a permanent habit of doing nice things for myself, I use other folks to light a fire under my ass.
