So, I discovered this awesome blog called Unfuck Your Habitat and it has inspired me to tackle the shitstorm that is my bookshelf.
The first is the “before picture.” Ay yai yai. What a mess. I just threw the books on when I first got the case, intending to ‘organize’ them once I had a moment. They stayed like that for a year and a half. Because I am a chronic putter-offer.The second picture was the “organizing” process. I grouped adult fiction, YA fiction, nonfiction, classics, ect. Stephen King had to have his own pile, haha. He ended up taking two cubes of double stacked books for himself in the end—and I still don’t have everything he’s ever written. The third is the glorious “after” picture. I’m actually so proud of my awesome collection now. I just had to share. The success with my bookshelf is also inspiring me to unfuck more of my habitat. New summer goal! And thanks to Unfuck Your Habitat for motivating me. There’s no better motivator for me than the “befores and afters” posted on their blog. If people can do this, then I can do this!

We also own a lot of Stephen King books (in both Hardcover and Softcover versions) and don’t have them all!
