So I wanted to say a big, heartfelt thank you.

This blog really has opened my eyes about a lot of things, and after following your blog for a couple of months I finally enjoy coming home, because my place is not a smelly, unsanitary mess.

I made a lot of progress and after one thourough cleaning session I find it a lot easier to maintain a normal standard of cleaning and organizing my stuff. Also, I am able to do things out of my own motivation, just because I know I feel better when my place is clean and you have taught me that it’s often not a matter of hours and days, but mere minutes.

I’ve made it a habit to make my bed first thing in the morning, it helps to wake up quicker if the first thing you do is something physically active.

So far today I did three loads of laundry, washed them, dried them, folded them and *actually* put the clothes back right away. I unfucked my desk, and wiped it down, I did the dishes, like I also do everyday now, and after lunch I will give the bathroom a wipe-down.

It feels so nice to be comfortable in my own home and actually being able to open the door and not being afraid that whoever is outside, even if it’s just the delivery guy, will judge me for being a slob.

PS: just keeping an extra trash bin next to my desk has made the mess on it reduce by easily 75%!
