The lock to my house is the worst. It takes about 5 minutes of inserting, pulling the key out juuuust right, lifting, and turning before it will unlock. I literally bent my key trying to get into the house today. Is this unfuckable or should I just ask my landlord to replace the dumb thing?

My lock was like this. Then my mom came to visit, applied graphite, and now it turns so easily I often think I forget to lock the door. Hardware store and ask for graphite lock lubricant. This is probably easier to DIY than bug landlord into.
