As explained right on the About page, and as I’ve said repeatedly, and as common sense would dictate:
UfYH runs on Eastern Standard Time (GMT-5). If you live in a different time zone, challenges may appear at the wrong time of day for you. Rather than gleefully gloating that you can’t do the challenge because it’s not the right time of day (and why are all of you gloaters so gleeful, anyway? I’m well aware of the existence of time zones), you have options! To counteract this perplexing phenomenon, do the challenges later. Or earlier, if you’re psychic. Whichever is appropriate.
I have a full-time job, a part-time copyediting job, a spouse, two dogs, a family of both blood and choice, and I run a Tumblr, a Twitter, and a FB page for UfYH. So, no, I can’t start another Tumblr for each time zone, or use the queue so that each challenge posts forty times a day so that it’ll maybe hit each time zone at the exact correct time once, but the wrong times the other 39 times it posts. Because if each challenge posted 40 times a day, I’d have no followers left. And I won’t start 40 different Tumblrs, or hell, even two or three more than I have now. I’m sorry. UfYH is all about working within the limitations of your life, and my limitation is that I’m one human being with only 24 hours in each day.
Try using your own queue to reblog posts at the right time for you. Or bookmark them and go back to them at the right time of day.
