First, UfYH, I LOVE YOU. Now, down to business. I want to buy a paper shredder so I can get rid of this bag of papers sitting in my closet. I know I could take it to Office Depot or a community shred, but I want my own. :) Any model in particular you recommend or any qualities I should look for in my new shredder? Thanks!

I have this one: a Fellowes B-152C. I went through about three or four cheaper ones that burned out or got irreparably jammed, and I’ve had this one for just over a year with moderate to heavy use, and it’s performed really well. I just try to be conscious of not overheating it.

Try to keep up w/ your shredding, too. It gets frustrating when you have 6 mos. of shredding to do but your shredder overheats every 20 minutes! Do it in smaller batches every week or so, or every time you get something that needs shredding!
