Dear angel sent from above a.k.a. UFYH person, I write seeking your advice! My husband and I are both recently ex-students with more lever arch files than we know what to do with. We are living in a comfortable rented flat, but because said flat is fully furnished and not owned by us, there is no space to put new bookcases (we've tried) and we can't tack up some shelves to get the files away from our feet. Do you or your Tidy Army of Bed Makers have any advice on how best to deal with this?

I had to Google this, and apparently lever arch files are 3-ring binders. I can work with this.

You say you are “ex-students.” So, are these binders something you need to access on a regular basis, or are they holdovers from school days? If you find you need to access them, say, no more than once every few weeks or so, I’d say get them off of display and into storage. Arrange them in alternating stacks (so they lay flat) in some underbed storage, and stash them.

Alternatively, if you never need them? May be time to unfuck them permanently.
