… how many other people only signed up to tumblr just to interact with UFYH?
Because I’ve seen a bunch of people say so in just the last few days :)
I also wonder how many others (like me) fell a little in love with it now that we’re here :)
In fact, I made another blog just for me, just to dump the contents of my thousands of bookmarks in my “when I am too sore to actually move” on the side unfucking project. (Yes house, I am cheating on you with my bookmarks. Suck it up.)
A lot of them are also on diigo and delicious, and well, all over, but they all fail me for some reason or another. And a lot of them are just “stuff I thought was cute, or pretty or inspiring or just distracting from the bad stuff”, so having them displayed nicely in a way that invites me to wander around going “oh! I remember that one!!” is a big plus compared to the very text-based interfaces that “real” bookmarking sites provide.
Tumblr can take a little getting used to, but it can be pretty fun, most of the time!
I did sign up because I wanted to interact with UFYH. I never did so before.
I’d followed some tumblr blogs with RSS before, but UFYH is the reason I actually started a tumblr account to post stuff...
UfYH wasn’t the only reason I signed up for Tumblr, but it was a pretty large part of it.
i don’t like tumblr, i don’t get it, and half the time i can’t figure out how to add notes and participate. i have...
UfyH is the only reason I have a Tumblr. Thanks, ufyh for getting me addicted to the fantastical world that is Tumblr :)
