This is the kitchen table, which I have been basically using as a desk/stuff-holding area.
I put all the errant bits of knitting and bric-a-brac away where they belong, but was faced with a dilemma about my computer. I keep it downstairs because if I kept it in my bedroom I would never come out, but then it’s just always sitting on the kitchen table, which is not in fact a desk.
But I realized that the table has a shelf underneath with a drawer! So I put my external harddrive and my laptop on the shelf, and all the cords in the drawer. Now the table is clean and clutter-free and I can pull my laptop out when I am actually using it.
