I have a number of asks looking for tips on unfucking jewelry. I don’t really have any jewelry, so my tips are “don’t lose your wedding ring” and “if you don’t put earrings in once every few years, the holes close up.” Not helpful. I’ve seen some great organization pictures and ideas from people, so I’m opening it up to you guys.

The majority of my jewelry is for body piercings/stretched ears, and I find a tackle box with small compartments=a great means of organizing!

I use a bead organizer—it’s a case with four plastic trays that are divided into compartments. The outside pockets hold bulky items.

Cover a piece of thick foam board with pretty fabric. Grab pushpins. Hang necklaces, bracelets, etc. Use old teacups to hold earrings & rings

one really ridiculously easy way to compactly and neatly store jewelry is to use a tackle box. enough sections for each piece & folds away.

I put each item (bracelet, necklace, pair of earrings) into a ziploc sandwich bag so they don’t get tangled. They also seem to stay cleaner.

Jewelry as art. Take a picture frame put some lace in it & hot glue pegs to the frame. Now everything’s on the wall not in a pile.

Hang a cross-stitch hoop with fabric stretched inside it. hook earrings into the fabric, hang necklaces from paperclip hooks. ditto for rings

Tips beyond storage: Reclasp necklaces, bracelets, etc. after taking them off, hook earrings together if you can to prevent misplacing one.

Get a huge chuch candle - pref unscented. Stick post earrings in it. Or get some sushi mats - nail to the wall & hook earrings through bamboo

Get a box and cut a square of styrofoam to fit into it. You can stick your stud earrings in there to store easily!

get cup hooks for necklaces and put them into the wall. that way it is super easy to just hang it up and even color coordiante

For anything dangling (long earrings and necklaces mostly) it’s better to not keep them in drawers. Jewelry trees are your friend!
