So, while scrolling through this wonderful blog, I found mention of fleas. Now, I recently just got rid of an infestation, and I have a miracle to share with all people with a flea problem. 20 Mule Team Borax. I’ve noticed a lot of weevily questions - I thought I’d share my mother’s method. (She’s the total queen of “Make your fucking bed” and “Sweep your fucking floors”). She keeps a little open jar or sprig of bay leaves in our pantry. This deters moths and weevils, and also bay leaves go in stews for tastiness. Also if you rub eucalyptus or tea-tree oil around your cupboards it’s a good deterrent. AND also (my mother has imparted a lot of tips to me!) lavendar/bay leaf sprigs in your wardrobe!
