Living room, as I left it:

After ten minutes, all I left on the table (which was wiped and dried) were my laptop, a child’s art project, and a couple of the kids’ drinks which they are coming back to throughout the afternoon:

The galley kitchen, before I started, both sides:

Both sides after ten minutes. I emptied the washing machine and put another load of laundry on, gathered all the dirty laundry off the floor into one basket, cleared the dry things off the draining board and started to empty the dishwasher (dry things away, damp things onto the draining rack) and clear the stovetop.

Then I had a break, and started another set of twenty. After the first ten (total 20 minutes in the kitchen), I’d cleared a lot more of the stove side but made a mess of the washing machine side:

After another 10 minutes I’d emptied the dishwasher and refilled and started is, and begun the handwashing, disposed of the food waste into the windowsill compost bin, etc:

And the last ten before this break ended thus:

So in all, this afternoon, I did four and a half 20/10s for a total of 90 minutes of work and 40 of rest. And I got the ground floor unfucked, which, after the morning I had, means a lot to me.
