The cat has been helping me with my attempts to unfuck my habitat. And by ‘helping’ I mean ‘waking me up at 4am trying to eat things she shouldn’t’. After 2 days of disturbed sleep I gave in and tidied the heap in the corner that was hiding the bookshelves and whatever it is she keeps chewing on.
Two 20/10s later and all the makeup is put away *inside* the case instead of on top of it (genius!), shoes and handbags are in the wardrobe, rubbish in the bin and the dust bunnies are in the vacuum cleaner. I’m really embarrassed by the state those books were in. I love books but I just can’t seem to take care of them. Some of those are first editions. Some of them are *signed* first editions. oh the horror.
As a bonus feature, here’s a before and after of the carpet vs our new Dyson. My physiotherapist said I’m allowed to attempt vacuuming due to my back so it only gets done once every few months. The grey areas are the result of using the old vacuum cleaner a week ago, the paler area is one run of the Dyson. I managed to do the whole room in one go (a first), the whole carpet is now cream AND I was able to actually get out of bed the next day! And walk around like a human being. It’s amazing!
I love my Dyson. I don’t care if that makes me a brand snob or whatever. It’s just so effective.
