Today’s post is really all about shoes!

Our shoes “belong” in the upstairs bedroom closets, but they always migrate downstairs. It is a never-ending losing battle trying to keep the most frequently worn of them from constantly reappearing in the Living Room.
My new shoe philosophy: If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.

And what are these new ottoman doohickies doing here?
Hooray!
The shoes now have a hidden, out-of-the-way but still convenient place to live.
And the cat has new things to put his butt on. So everyone wins!
Still to do:
1. The floors! They’ve been swept/vacuumed but they really need to be scrubbed.
2. That rug on the bench in the hallway needs a new home.
