Unfuck Your Habitat

I am SO PROUD OF MYSELF.  Thank you, UFYH, for helping me out here!

My bedroom was an absolute disaster.  I mean dust everywhere, stuff not picked up for months, bed unmade (mine’s the bottom bunk)…

Now, I DO have a roommate (hence the bunk beds) and she is generally cleaner than myself BY FAR, but even her part of the room was messy today.  I tried to avoid getting pictures of it, but some of the mess actually isn’t mine, like the stuff in the bottom right corner in the first and third pictures.  Everything else was mine, though.

After doing my laundry and about 3 20/10s (WAY less than I thought!), this is what it looks like….

(I did the actual cleaning later in the day, so roomie was in bed - she doesn’t have tumblr though, so don’t tell her I took this while she was asleep!)

As you can see, MUCH better.  I know that according to some people’s standards, this still could use some work (especially my shoe storage), but for me, this is a vast, vast improvement.  I’m so excited, and I am planning on keeping it this way for a long, long time!

Oh, and P.S. - I also found my favorite (and expensive) ring that had been missing for months… it had somehow ended up in a bag under my nightstand!
