A couple of weeks ago I got a brand new, totally awesome AlienWare computer. I love it a lot. However, I am moving from a Mac, so the process of copying files over is not as easy as it might otherwise be, and I have been avoiding completing the task.
So among my UfYH challenges this weekend, I’m including cleaning up this mess. The total project is actually quite large, there will be a lot of organizing to do once all my music/documents/pictures have been migrated. However, using the 20/10 method makes this easier too. Instead of “Oh god look at all this stuff” I’m feeling more “Ok, let’s break this down, find the manageable bits.”
As I type this I’m copying my Desktop and Documents folders over. Just seeing that progress bar feels pretty good, to be honest.
