I have a question for you all:
What on Earth do you do for the 10 part of your 20/10s?
I’m good about not marathoning and only doing 20 minutes of work at a time. I think the concept of 20/10s is brilliant, and I’m all for it, but I can’t get the 10 part of it to work.
My kitchen timer will go off, and I’ll go to sit and do something less strenuous that I think will take ten minutes, but I wind up getting absorbed and before I know it, it’s been a 20/45.
I’ve been trying to set the timer for 10 minutes lately, but it goes off and I think, “Oh just this one thing,” and I have the same problem.
I am sure boss lady would (correctly say) “well just stop what you’re doing when your 10 is up and get back to work!” But I was wondering if anyone had come up with an absolute shining perfection of something that can be done in 10 minutes?
Alternatively, I’ll just have to suck it up and stop being so easily distracted by shiny things.
I use my 10s for internetting. Because no matter what I’m doing, it’ll still be there in 20 minutes. Also, sometimes I color. Helps me focus.
