CAT PEE: SOLUTION (kind of)! Train them to use the toilet. I'm not kidding. I've trained three cats to do this and it's super easy (as long as your cat isn't too old or weak to jump up to the seat). They sell kits to transition your feline friend from litter box to toilet. amzn. to/xIWRcp (take out the space) is kind of expensive, but it's well worth it. You'll have to flush for them, obviously, but it sure beats scooping shit.

Ok, guys, this is the last cat pee-related content for a while. Also, if I could toilet train my dogs, I would be all over that.

Oh, and people are very concerned about cat pee, because it is an awful thing. It stinks, it discolors, can damage surfaces and it's a huge pain to clean completely.

Oh, I totally get that! It’s just the one topic that seems to get everyone all fired up every time. People definitely feel ways about cat pee. And I agree, it’s pretty terrible to deal with. Cat pee!

My parents had two cats. Both of them would refuse to pee in a dirty litter box and also if it was the clumping clay kind, because they would hate it when the clay litter would get stuck on their paws. Another cause was that the cat was getting revenge, either for itself or for another cat/human. My cat would pee in my dad's bed or clothes any time my dad yelled at me and I got upset, or if he yelled at the cat, or another cat. Pretty much the cat decided it was a way to punish someone.

Cat pee!

Another note on cat pee: I have two male cats and one recently started peeing outside the litter box. He is very picky about how clean his litter is. If it isn't clean enough he will pee outside the litter box. I changed from the clay clumping kind to a pine litter (Feline Fresh) which is great for odor, easy to clean and lasts forever. Not to mention way cheaper then the clay kind! I also clean the litter twice a day and no more pee to clean up! He may just be a little picky!

Apparently this is now a cat pee blog. We’ll be back to 20/10s and vinegar as soon as I can.

MOAR CAT-PEE-RELATED ASKS! For those with cats who are peeing outside their box, along w/behavioral or medical fixes, you can also try Dr. Elsey's Cat Attract litter. It's only available at actual pet stores, not at grocery stores, but petco or petsmart should have it. It's specially formulated with a different granule size and density to be softer on their paws, and with herbal additives to make it smell more interesting for the cat. It also has a pamphlet inside w/training tips to help you.

You guys have a lot to say about cat pee.

How can I make my cat to stop peeing on my floor? I live in a two cat household and my cat a is 1 yr old male, the other cat is a grumpy 5 yr old female. She doesn’t like him. I have put a litter box in the pee pee room and cleaned up the pee with nature’s miracle, but he rescents. I have also gotten feliaway to chill them out. HELP ME!!!!! I’ve run out of answers!! (And I’ve used a CSI light to find secret pee)

Cat pee army, unite! Making this answerable/rebloggable. What my non-cat-owning self has learned is: one more litter box than number of cats, move the litter box to where he seems to pee, and some mixture of hydrogen peroxide and something else that I’m sure someone will provide me. And I swear, I’m going to make a “cats” page, because I get more questions about cat pee than anything else.

Anyone who responds by telling the OP to get rid of the cat(s) will get a not-fun gif and will be on my shit list.

Cat pee army, what say ye?
