Hi! I'm housesitting for some friends who just got married and since they were SOOOO busy beforehand, the house is kind of fucked. I cleaned out the sink with hard scrubbing, but when I went for the toilet it was full of lime scale and will get filth caught in that!? How do I get rid of the lime scale without having to scrub the toilet by hand!? ;_;

will do it. Pour a considerable quantity in the bowl and let it sit for a few hours. Give it a good scrubbing. If it’s not budging, you can turn the water off to the toilet, flush it so it empties but doesn’t refill, and then try something like CLR, which is pretty hardcore, but a lot more expensive than vinegar.

ufyh please help me my bathroom sink smells bad and is slow, even when we clean it with like yr han-d-plumbr type stuff it just starts to stink up the place not too long after what do I DO....???? is this a time for sink volcano. because that sounds like fun

It’s always time for a drain volcano! If your pipes are metal and not PVC, follow it up with a kettle full of boiling water. If they’re PVC, just as hot as the tap allows. You may need to look into a snake or a Zip-it if it’s a persistent problem.
