ETA: And, duh, yes, hang a line if you can. I blame a lack of caffeine for missing the obvious answer there.

other quick question: I have a plastic drying rack. Not the best, I know, I know, but that's all I have, and I think it's starting to have some black dots on it and I can't reach them (I wish I could show you a picture, but it's like, kind of wavy) and it's grossing me out ): what can I do?

I need some more information. Clothes drying rack or dish drying rack? Where are the black spots? What do they look like? Do they come off when you scratch/wipe them? Why can’t you reach them (are they really high up or in a tiny unaccessible space)?
