unfucking your inbox tip: for one day, take 3 seconds to unsubscribe to every junk/spam/deal/flyer/other-mass-email you get, rather than just deleting it. do this is as soon as it hits your inbox, no waiting. it usually takes two clicks. i did this today and my inbox is already easier to maintain! i have always deleted mass amounts of emails i wasn't interested in, and realized today how little time it takes to actually unsubscribe from them.

for all you linoleum erasers: i saw a magic eraser MOP at wal-mart the other day. like, the entire mop head is a magic eraser, with magic eraser replacement inserts sold separately. i haven't bought it yet, but after pay day IT WILL BE MINE.

I’ve cautioned people on the Magic Eraser mop before: the mop head is not an actual Magic Eraser. It’s melamine foam mixed with something that keeps it from deteriorating, and is not (in my experience) any more effective than any other kind of modern sponge mop. The texture of actual Magic Erasers doesn’t lend itself to mop form very easily. It would get stuck a lot and fall apart rather quickly.
