I have a lovely backpack - was a diaper (no babies now) backpack- lots of cool zippers, pouches, etc. and would really like to use it again. The problem - my friends puppy peed all over it. 3 years ago. Still on the floor of the basement. don't even remember which part he peed on. Ugh. do you have any ideas on how to clean it. Thought about trying to submerge it in the sink and soak it for - say - a couple of weeks. Or do you think it would survive being washed in a front loader? Thanks!

Depends on the material. Anything but leather would probably be OK in a front loader on a delicate cycle. You could sink- or bucket-soak it with some Nature’s Miracle and water and then put it through the washer and lay it flat to dry.
