Is there a way to get crayon that melted in the dryer out of clothing? DOES VINEGAR GET MELTED CRAYON STAINS OUT OF CLOTHING??

For the person who has trouble waking up in the morning, I'm a really heavy sleeper so I have a few tips. Light helps me wake up, so now I sleep with my blinds open. Also, sometimes if I know there's a good chance I won't wake up (I'm going to bed really late) I purposely make myself a little uncomfortable (too hot/cold) or drink water so when my alarm goes off I need to get up & pee. Those are special occasion things only, or you'll never get adequate rest.

People often underestimate how much light helps you wake up.
I have a TON of dirty laundry right now... because I don't currently have enough money to do it. It's spilling out of my closet on to my floor and it's making my tiny dorm look way messier than it already is. Hopefully I'll be getting some cash soon, but until that happens do you or your followers have any tips on how to hide laundry?

In bags under the bed? Or line an empty drawer with a laundry bag and put a bunch in there?
So I had a lovely party last night, and my room desperately needs to be unfucked before my date tonight. However it's interterm and I don't feel like working too hard. Can you suggest a gentle unfucking schedule for the following activities? Pick up clothes, sort out stuff I jammed in my closet for the party, paint my nails, shower, make bed, wash dishes, wipe down surfaces that were spilled upon, locate missing card/board game pieces, and sort laundry.

Well, a nice gentle schedule is 20/10s, so you get a break every half hour. I’d suggest:
- pick up clothes
- break
- make bed
- sort laundry
- break
- dishes/wipe down surfaces
- break
- closet/game pieces
- paint nails
- break
- shower
I just wanted to write to say thank you UFYH! I have ADD and often when I've got a lot to do it seems so overwhelming that I can't figure out where to even begin and I just procrastinate more. Having y'all make a battleplan for me has been immensely helpful the two times I asked. You even inspired me to make my own unfuck my finals plan (now I just hope I can stick to it). Get that superhero costume and wear it with pride!

Follow up: I started strong... then got distracted after my first load of laundry. But as of 1 day later, my laundry is washed (except handwash only stuff and my sheets), my bed is fixed, I performed my French skit, and my teacher let me email him my 2 short essays yesterday after class so those are done too. Thanks UFYH! I feel like you are a superhero but without a costume. You should get a costume.

Yay follow-up! I think you’re right. I should have a costume.

So I have so much dirty laundry that it is spilling out of my laundry bin and creeping across my room, this morning my bed frame broke so the bottom half is resting on the floor and the top is at an angle but submitting a maintenance request seems like an awful lot of work (I can totally sleep at an angle, right?), I have a skit I have to memorize by tomorrow, all in French, and I need to write two 1 pg French essays and make test corrections, also by tomorrow. HOW DO I HANDLE ALL THIS SHIT?
unfuckyourhabitat Said:
ONE THING AT A TIME.
- Submit a maintenance request. It’s the thing that requires the least effort on your part, and you need a not-broken bed.
- Throw a load of laundry in the washer.
- Spend the wash time memorizing your skit.
- Throw the laundry in the dryer and start a new load.
- Spend the drying time writing your essays.
- Put the stuff in the washer into the dryer, and the stuff in the dryer AWAY.
- Use drying time to make test corrections.
- Put second load of dried stuff away.
- Go over your skit again.
- Do not go back on Tumblr until you’re done.
GO.
I need to unfuck all the crap piled on my bedroom floor, but I also need to unfuck my sleep schedule and go to bed. HELP ME UNFUCKYOURHABITAT, WHICH DO I DO??
unfuckyourhabitat Said:
I’m guessing by the time you see this, you’ll have picked one or the other, but my answer would have been: 10 minutes picking stuff up, then bedtime. You’ll get way more done than you think.
